More About Me
Who am I?
Joe lives in the Lehigh Valley, PA area with his wife and son. While his #1 job is story teller and father to a very imaginative 4 year old, his day-job consists of testing all things Information Technology.
His hobbies include writing, telling stories, cooking, and traveling the east coast with his family.
Joe enjoys thinking of new stories to entertain his son and hopefully you in the near future.
He holds a MS in Information Technology, and a BS in Computer Science.
Why do I write?
My son, Benjamin, has inspired me to write. Any time he can, Ben asks for a story - at the breakfast table, before bedtime, just relaxing on the sofa, and even when giving him a bath, Ben wants to hear a story and a story I do tell. His imagination and the excitement from the stories I create on the spot have created a desire to share my stories with others through self-publishing.
What are my favorite children's books?
As a child I read and re-read "Harold and the Purple Crayon" and "Tiki Tiki Tembo" many times. I was drawn to how the imagery of these books let your imagination pull you into the story.
Today, I am drawn to stories that make my son laugh and spark his imagination. A few that come to mind are "The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore", "The Monster at the End of this Book" and "The Bad Seed" series.
